Re: Me-323 losses

Chris, there are over 100 known losses, so you need to be a little more specific.

The main sources are the Luftwaffe GQM and VLM files held by the German BA.

Re: Me-323 losses

Chris, the French publication Le Messerschmidt Me 323 Gigant by Jean-Lousis Roba IBSN 0-7643-1442-4 (39 Euros http://www.aircraft-navalship.com/pr...es-livres/1459) has a list of the Me323 by serial number, and an alphatical list of known crewmen. There is also Messerschmidt Me 321/323 by Hans Peter Dabrowski IBSN 978-2-914017-61-9(E-Bay ?) which has a constuction list and loss details of some individual aircraft. I have made a list from the GQM but it is only hand-written so if there are any specific losses you are interested in let me know,

Brian Bines

Re: Me-323 losses

Matti supplied some loss data for 1944 Me 323 losses back in October 2012. The LW Verband also listed known losses back in the day. I don't recall that there was crew data though. The best source of pre-44 losses with crew would be the Gen.Qu. loss reports (or the NVM if you can find them).
