Corsair flown by P N Charlton, Operation Tungsten?

Hello everyone

Can anyone give me the serial and code for the 1834 Sqn Corsair flown by Lt Cmdr Philip Noel Charlton DSC DFC on Operation Tungsten on April 3rd 1944?

Bit of a long shot, but maybe someone knows...

Regards

Simon

As he was C.O. then he was probably allocated 7A which was JT384, but I don't know whether he was flying it on that day or not.

Sturtivant has JT423 as 7H with 1834 Sqn from March 3rd 1944...a good possibility?
