Remains of Feldwebel Kurt Knispel Found
Hi guys
I came across the news that the burial site of Feldwebel Kurt Knispel, the highest-scoring tank ace, was found at Vrbovec in the Czech Republic in April 2013. It appears that in spite of his successes he is rather less known than other tank aces such as Wittmann and Carius. Perhaps it has to due with the fact that he was never awarded the Ritterkreuz?
