RAF strength in squadrons

Hello,

I found this document:http://www.wwiiaircraftperformance.o...ov44-may45.jpg, do you know where it comes from ?

It would be very interesting to have the same datas for the months before november 44.

Thank you

Alain

Re: RAF strength in squadrons

That is one of the RAF intelligence summaries from AIR22 at the UK National Archives. For example, AIR22/162. Browse that section and look for Bomber Command, Fighter Command etc in the title and you may find what you are looking for. They are not all in date order and the title changed a couple of times during the war, but as far as I know they are all there.

Hope this helps,
Bruce

Re: RAF strength in squadrons

Here is a similar form for Bomber Command, "Consolidated Form G", which outlines aircraft and crew strengths by Group within Bomber Command. These were compiled daily, this one is from April 30/44 and found in AIR 24/270, Bomber Command Appendices, April 1944.
Cheers
