I'm trying to work out what happened to a lancaster bomber lost on operations in June 1944. There is some suggestion that Obfw. Willi Morlock (NGJ 1) may have claimed her...and I'm undertaking research on behalf of some family members of the lancaster crew....
I've also heard that it is possible to purchase "abschussmeldung" on the internet and though next to impossible, I'd like to see if one for the night in question still exists....this seems to be the best place to look..... Could anyone help?? Thanks for your time and patience.
