F/O Allan Triggs 172 Sqn Ditching Report
On 12 August Triggs Wellington ditched, six days later they together with one only surviving member of the Sunderland B/461 crew were rescued by a launch.
Trigg's penned a four page ditching report, has anyone come across it? I have a copy of an unpublished version by Watson of B/461 (ditching) written whilst interviewed at CC HQ It would be good to see the comparisons. Any help very much appreciated. With thanks in advance Andy Bird

Hello,
The airman concerned is AUS400500 F/O Allan William Russell TRIGGS RAAF (Later MBE, DFC), and the incident occurred on 12 August 1942 (No.172 Sqn Wellington VIII BB503 & No.461 Sqn RAAF Sunderland II T9090:UT-B).
