Has anyone got career details for Obstlt Fritz Schürmeyer.

He was awarded the RK as an Oblt and St.Kap. 3.(F)/Ob.d.L. on 01Oct40

I've a note that an Oblt Schuermeyer was St.Kap. 3.(F)/123 as of Sep39, is it the same individual.

Question on Schurmeyer,

I note that he was an observer 1935-36 and later he became Staka (Staffelkapitan):
01.10.40 Oblt., awarded Ritterkreuz, Staka 3.(F)/Aufkl.Gr, Ob.d.L.

Does this mean he received a pilot/observer qualification to achieve this post or can observers be staka?
