Apparently the sister machine to "Yellow 16" of 12./JG 5 which has been raised from the Norwegian waters!

You beat me to it. Looks like 'Yellow 15' of 12./JG5. Another good photo of the emblem that was really unknown until last year when 'Yellow 16' was recovered. http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=150311579494 Beautiful photo. But who is the pilot - hopefully of 12./JG5. regards Mark

The two photos I use as an example appeared I saw within 24 hours in between. I've noted this phenomena at least five times the last few months. The emblem reminds me of Aufkl.Kette Lappland, quite a lot but probably not identical. The mountains in the background look very Norwegian in appearance to me. Armee Oberkommando(AOK) Lappland, or rather the "Kurier Kette Lappland", is mentioned to have had a JU 52 1R+GH and one 1R+ZH but I don't know what their emblem looked like.(Source Barry C. Rosch, Luftwaffe Codes, markings and Units 1939-1945, p.63, 128 and 284. Not sure which unit........who knows? Cheers Goran

Many sellers use different member names in Ebay. In this case I'm not 100 % certain, but it sure looks like it :
