Hampden Observers Access to fuselage
So I have read in a Hampden the Observer sat in the nose only during flight and for take off and landing (including crash landing and ditching) he would sit near the main spar behind the pilot. I have read that access to fuselage was under the pilot but I don't imagine the Observer had to crawl between his legs, so how did he get in his crash position.
