According to earlier posts, there was a Lt Croissant in 6/KG 76 -can anyone confirm such names as I am having difficulty! It is a known German name before anyone asks!

No actual background info. From secondary sources with reservations some incidents, where he was involved:

1944-12-30, IV/KG 76, Ar 234 B-2, Fl.Pl. Alt-Lönnewitz, Technische Störung. Bruch ? %.
1945-01-02, III/Erg.KG 1, Ar 234 B-2, Fl.Pl. Alt-Lönnewitz, Reifenschaden bei Landung. Bruch ? %.
1945-03-19, 6./KG 76, Ar 234 B-2, Fl.Pl. Brüssel (Bruxelles), Luftkampf mit Jägern. Bruch ? %.
1945-03-21, 6./KG 76, Ar 234 B-2, Fl.Pl. Bad Kreuznach, Flakbeschuß. Bruch ? %.
