He 111 of Stab III/KG 27, Dinard

I know this has been asked by me before nearly 2 years ago but in the interim, does anyone have a record of an ac coded 1G+HD force-landing at Dinard late 1940-pre-Barbarossa 1941?

Chris,

I checked the EoE Photo DB and find no entries for an He111 with that code.

What I have is: He 111P-2 WNr. 2864 crash landed at Dinard on 13.12.40 due to engine failure with 90% damage. The pilot was Oblt. Ottmar Dold (the T.O. from III./KG 27) in an aircraft from 7./KG 27 with the code 1G+HR.

The aircraft letter "H" is too high for an aircraft from a Gruppenstab.

Agreed that H is too high for a Stab unless the code was personalised; see attached
