RAF Intelligence: A.I. 4(f)

Can anyone enlighten me as to the title/function of this section, who headed it and where it was based?

It's referred to in Bletchley Park reports "From Duty Officer, Hut 3 (for Operational Watch A.I.4.F)"

Thanks.

Re: RAF Intelligence: A.I. 4(f)

According to the A.C.A.S.(I) organizational chart dated September 1943, the A.I.4.(f) section title was Station 'X' (Bletchley Park). It seems to have been a liaison or coordinating section acting on matters between A.I. in London and Bletchley Park. The other A.I.4. sections, a, b, c, d, e and g, were all directly concerned with "Y" Service matters.
