Luft-torpedo Betriebs-Kompanie at Cognac and Avord
Firstly, to all a happy new year and best wishes for 2017.
In june and july 1944 torpedoplanes of 2.Fliegerdivision trying to attack shipping in Channel often use airports of Cognac and Avord for intermediate landings to take torpedoes and fuel.
It seems, at that time, 2. Luft-Torpedo Betriebs-Kompanie was located at Montpellier, 7. LT Betriebs-Kp. at Dijon, Tavaux and Istres , 8. LT Betriebs-Kp. at Orange and 9. LT Betriebs-Kp. at Salon.
Detachments of some of these units were certainly sent to Cognac and Avord.
Can someone tell me which LT Betriebs-Kp. sent elements to Cognac and which to Avord ?
