RAF Strafing attacks on airfields 26 August 1941
On this date 263 Squadron claimed the destruction of five Ju88 and five Ju87, with 234 Squadron adding another two of the latter and one of the former. 91 Squadron claimed a probable Bf109 and 66 Squadron damaged four Ju88.
The attacked were on Lannion and Maupertuis airfields. Flt Cliff Rudland thought that at least some of the victories were scored again dummy aircraft. Can anyone identify Luftwaffe losses to RAF attack on this date? regards Keit
