"CAT 3 DAMAGE" P-47 367FS/358FG
Hello I am working on 367FS Mission No. 314 November 18, 1944. The second to last sentence states,
"One P-47 damaged, cat 3, on landing" Can someone explain the range of categories for damaged planes? Were the categories 1-10 which one was most severe? Were these categories generic to 9AF or specific to 367/358? Thanks in Advance. Claiborne |
