Re: ranking Dornier ace

Good evening,

I'm still very intested in any info regarding the Dornier score of Ludwig Becker, or any ace with more Dornier kills than him.

Re: ranking Dornier ace

Out of curiosity, why do say Becker was the highest scoring Dornier 'ace'? At various times Lent, Radusch, Krause, amongst other NF pilots, flew the Do 17 or Do 217. I have copies of the FB of a couple of these guys, but I've never looked up the particular aircraft type they were flying for when they made their claims. Is there a some basis for this claim? Just curious because I've never seen anything that lists their claims by the type of aircraft that they may have been flying.

Hello Jim,

yes, wikipedia indicated that Ludwig Becker has at least 6 Do215 kills and one Do17 kill.
Lent has exactly 4 Dornier kills.
Can you tell me more about the Dornier exploits of Radusch and Krause ?

Sincerely,

Michael

What you have to understand about Michael/Knusel is that no matter how well-intentioned your advice or constructive criticism, he actually only listens to those that are telling him what he wants to hear...

...and then he wonders why his threads and posts get closed down

Re: ranking Dornier ace

Agree Nick, gave him a book reference which lists every known kill achieved with the a Do 215, so he can look for himself if he likes.

Nick, if that's your honest opinion, why don't you ignore my threads altogether ?
This would make me the happiest forum member of them all
plus it would give you more time to enlighten forum members who appreciate you with your wisdom.

If you repeatedly ask for information but ignore much of what is offered to you, people are going to find that annoying. Why not take a little more interest in the sources of information which other members have tried to bring to your attention?
