Missions of No. 1 PRU in 1942

Dear gents,

I look for details of the No. 1 PRU missions in 1942.
I cannot find anything at TNA. There are no ORB's before the reorganisation at 19 Oct 1942. There are only appendices of some flights of No. 1 PRU. Later redesigned as No. 540 to 544 Squadron.
I look for a mission on 7 May 1942. Flown by a former flight of No. 1 PRU (later No. 540 or 544 Squadron ?).
The appendices of A, B, D and E-Flight contains no information about this date.

Maybe anyone can help me.

Rgds, René

Hi René,

The file you are interested in is AIR 29/415 which covers 1 PRU during 1942.

1 PRU flew 12 sorties on 07 May 42. Is there a sortie covering a particular area you are interested in?

Best Regards

Andy Fletcher

Hi René,

F/L V.A. Ricketts and Sgt G.B. Lukhmanoff (Obs) took off from Benson at 10:40 in Mosquito DK284. They landed at 16:50 having covered targets in the Gotha, Erfurt, Chemnitz, Brux, Kladno, Prague, Pilsen, Schwandorf, Nördlingen, Karlsruhe and Zeebrugge areas.

Best Regards
