Can't help with much
He must have been a pilot since he is so listed on the document. He was possibly an Austrian since his home base was at Wien-Aspern. For me the interesting thing was the aircraft used in this competition. Very good details. Thanks for posting Cheers Stig

Wilhelm Bittrich was a General of the Waffen-SS but he served as pilot in Jasta 37 in World War 1.
