"only the best pilots..."?
p107 of "Lancaster at War" Vol.3 says:
"Well into the month of February 1945.....the shortage of fuel was so acute the only top line (German) pilots were allowed combat flying time.." Is this true? Max Williams www.galgos.co.uk
