Obgefr Georg Fey, KIA 9th October 1944

Dear all,

On 16th May 1945 the body of 'G. Feij' washed ashore near Egmond, The Netherlands.
This may be the same person as Obgefr Georg Fey, now buried at Ysselsteyn, Block BE, Row XI, grave 254.

Presumably he may have been an occupant of one of the several V-1 launching He.111's of KG3 or KG53, which were frequently lost over the North Sea.

Hopefully somebody has a clue on file which may lead to the identification of the aircraft and crew Obgefr Fey belonged to?

Thanks in advance,
Hans Nauta
