Photo ID help: Me 109 JG5 Drontheim
Hi!
Does anybody have information about this particulary aircraft shown on this 3 pictures. I think this is a E or T type and the markings should suggest this is a machine in JG5 Drontheim. JOHN Last edited by John Fredrik; 4th April 2012 at 16:33. |

Re: Photo ID help: Me 109 JG5 Drontheim
Hi John.
The early canopy let me think, that is a Bf 109 E-1 or E-3 type. What's the source of the photos? They are looking like a scan from a print publication. David

This could be Bf 109 E-7 W.Nr.5163 (originally built as E-3 by WNF) lost on 12th December 1941.
