Only a heads up before you bid on the He 162 foto: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160069366841 Picture is published on p.15 in "Flugzeug Profile Nr.35, Heinkel He 162 ", . Taken at Leck airfield May 1945. Foto Reference "Archiv Peter Petrick" Will remember having seen it also elsewhere. Great thanks to Ed who is taking the time posting the pictures here! Several are well known but many are on the other hand very interesting. Cheers! |

Re: Photos 1-3-07
Hi Von Alles,
I'm sure of the fate: it's a Luciole! http://perso.orange.fr/rxsept/avion/...%20luciole.jpg Regarding to the underwing cockade, I can add that a lot of small "sportsplanes", such as i.e the Caudron C600 aiglon , the Hanriot H436 or the Hanriot H183 have been mobilized by the "Armée de l'Air", at the beginning of WW2, to be used as duty and liaison planes. Subsequently, they have been camouflaged and french cockades applied on. The pic is certainly not of a german Go 145!!! Best regards. |
