324 Wing claim, 24 July 1944
To save me downloading four or five sets of Squadron ORB's, can anyone tell the pilot(s) and Squadron claiming an Fw 190 0ff Nice on 24 July 1944, please?

Buntings claim was on 24 July 44. 93 Wt Off Bobby Bunting 409075 RAAF 5 Spitfire IX MA583 FW 190 5-7m S Nice 20.12 See also MAW Vol 5 P181. Victim was Oblt Ludwig Klink of 2./NAGr 13. Russell Last edited by Russell; 24th February 2023 at 03:58. Reason: Typo

For more details you can find Bunting's sortie report on page 42 of the Appendix to the 93 Sqn. ORB AIR 27/753/1. The time of the combat is given there as 20:27. He was flying MA583, as noted above, which was coded 'HN-C'. Regards, Tom
