MACR 6170
Hi Folks,
I am looking for information on the fate of a downed 376. BG B-24J crew, plane S/N: 44-40091, lost on June 26, 1944, MACR 6170. The number of POWs (and maybe KIA) could help to identify the crash site, based on some police crash-reports. Any details would be much appreciated. Thanks, Gabor |

Re: MACR 6170
Gabor,
According to a 2006 post on www.armyairforces.com "44-40091" came down at Raasdorf, Austria. Pilot was Lt Thomas J. Hayden. Regards, Leendert |
