UC-64A Serialnumber 44-70383

Hello!
On November 15th 1945 crashed after the war a UC-64A, Serialnumber 44-70383, in the area I'm living in Germany southeast of Schweinfurt (Lower Franconia, Bavaria). It is reported that there are two killed airmen. But I found only informations about the Pilot, Lawrence Dennis Kimbrough. Who can tell me more about the unit, the second crewmember and more about the circumstandes.
Thanks already now so much for any information.

Re: UC-64A Serialnumber 44-70383

Norbert,

Found the following on a Noorduyn website:
648 44-70383
Delivered to the USAAF as aircraft No. 44-70383 on September 13, 1944. Flown to Newark, New Jersey, arriving September 16. Shipped to the 8th Air Force in Europe on October 6. While with 12th TAC, it crashed and was destroyed 20 miles SE of Schweinfurt, Germany on November 15, 1945. Weather was blamed. Pilot Lawrence D. Kimborugh and three passengers died.

Regards,

Leendert
