Re: Fritz Habicht

My notes have them shot down by return fire in the Roermond area on 3/4-2-1945 in He 219 A-2 G9+CH w/n 290070. Hpt. Ressuguier ejected and landed injured while Fw.Fritz 'Pitt' Habicht made a convential bale out when his seat failed to operate, he landed with serious injuries.
Source the excellent 'Nachtjagd' by Theo Boiten which has an account of the incident by Fritz Habicht,

Regards
