Aero A.35 YU-PDE
Hello All,
The site at http://www.aeroflight.co.uk/waf/yugo/jkrv/impressed.htm lists a Aero A.35 YU-PDE as impressed in April 1940. Has anyone any information as to whether the aircraft saw service in the April 1941 campaign, or the fate of the aircraft. Regards, Clint |

Re: Aero A.35 YU-PDE
Hello,
I don´t know anything about WW2 Service. All in all 12 planes of this type were built. YU-PDE is probably Aero A-35.10, registred on April 28 1934 in Czechoslovakia as OK-ATD. Owned by Baťa Company and sold in 1935 to Yugoslavia (Czechoslovak immatriculation canceled on September 29 1935). This type is transport plane and I would be really suprise if this type (in 1940, 1941 too old) could enter in anyway military service excluding service in air schools or for transport duties. |

Re: Aero A.35 YU-PDE
Hello Michal,
Thanks for the reply. I too assume that if the A.35 was impressed by the JKRV that it must have been used as a transport as the other impressments listed on the site are transport aircraft. Regards, Clint |
