In 'Condor' by Patrick Laureau he is noted as being a member of 1.Staffel J/88 in October 1938. His claim was an I-15 on the 6th February 1939 during an attack on Vilajuiga airfield.

Regards,

Steve

He remained a POW and was not repatriated-I have his signature on a birthday card to a captured JG 26 member from all the other captured Schlageter pilots

Hello,

Where does your ID come from for a "Yellow 3" down near Den Haag on 10.5.40? I know about a "Yellow 6" but not a "Yellow 3."

Thanx,
