Loss of He 111H-16 of 1./KG 53 10/12 1944.
On 10/12 1944 He 111H-16 werknummer 161442 of 1./ KG 53 crashed into the North Sea killing the crew of Fw Fritz Knop, Uffz Waldemar Vahle, Fhr Fritz Brugger, Uffz Günter Lis (rest Frederikshavn) and Ofh Kurt Tornier (rest Kviberg).
Can anyone tell me what the purpose of this Feindflug was and where the He 111 took off from. Thank you in advance.
