RAF ME 725 6. December 1944
Hello,
im seeking any information or any crew photos of Lancaster I serial ME 725 code QR-G from 61 Squadron which took off from RAF Skellingthorpe on the evening of 12/06/1944 on Ops to Giessen and due to enemy action crashed at Ilschhausen/Germany. The crew were as follows FO C A Donnelly RAAF taken POW Sgt A H Steers reported killed in action FLt J H Vincent RAAF Taken POW FSgt R G D Brock Taken POW FSgt F D Green RAAF Taken POW Sgt L Ayres reported killed in action Sgt T Kerringan Taken POW, In particular i am would like to contact any of those who were taken prisoner of war or any of their family.
