Should be a Potez 567 s/n 30 ex Aeronavale, although I cannot quite make out the last 7 in 567. Anyone who knows HOW these slicks were marked on the rudder?

I think that the Bf109 is a Dora version, due to smoke traces on the wing.

"This aircraft was one of 311 Fairey Battle 1s delivered by Fairey Aviation, Stockport, between May38 and Feb39. Contract No. 522745/36. K9485 was one of two 105 Sqdn Battles lost on this operation. See: P2176. Delivered to 12 sqdn 5Feb39; 105 Sqdn 30Nov39. Airborne 1430 Villeneuve-les-Vertus. Hit by Flak and crashed into a hillside near Bouillon (Luxembourg), Belgium, close to the border with France. P/O T.Hurst KIA Sgt W.J.Anning KIA LAC C.R.Wells KIA "
