Are you sure about this date?
Jochen Prien lists no losses from the 6/JG3 on this day.

Regards

Robert

Hello Michel,

Not sure which crash you mean - on 8 Oct 43 no losses for 6./JG 3. Think that the one on 4 Oct 43 at 10.30 hours Me 109G-5, w/nr 26096, Gelbe 6, of 6./JG 3 (Pilot: Fw Alfred Kalitta) near Geilenkirchen/Aachen; 10 km NW of Sittard - shot down in combat with P-47's - might it it. Kalitta baled out - wounded at his eye and not able to fly combat any more.

Michel, what data do you have? Any reports?

Best wishes,

Rob
