Ju 87 emblem

Hi,

could somebody help me with this picture of a Ju 87:
- which version of the Ju 87 is it ?
- to which staffel/gruppe or geschwader does the emblem belong?

These pictures come from my cellection.

Hello,

Looks like a Ju87D to me; the insignia is I./StG77, probably 3. Staffel, although the references show a somewhat different version of the owl insignia.

There are others but I think this matches your Ju 87 please note that the original wouldn't have the writing underneath when applied to an aircraft:

Here is a rather blurred shot of a Ju 87D of 3 Staffel I./StG77 but you can see the insignia more clearly.

No I didn't get it from eBay, but from a Russian book that has been digitalised. I don't write or speak russian so I have no idea of the book's title!! It is the same as yours of course, but I think slightly worse quality.
