Some NZ pilot names ?

I am reading a book about C.J. Sheddan

he mentions a couple of Pilots I do not know there names

F.B. Lawless (he calls Bruce, shot down 10, V-1s)

and

B.D. Bremmer (he just calls him Bremmer, shot down 7 V-1s)

any ideas on what there real of fulls names are ?

I seem to notice that the RAF types used the middle name more then the first name

a shame, the info is findable if the person were killed, but HARD to find if they lived

Re: Some NZ pilot names ?

Sarge,

Frank Brewster Lawless

Could it be Robert Duff BREMNER instead?

Regards,

Leendert

Re: Some NZ pilot names ?

Frank Brewster Lawless NZ411417

There appears to be some confusion about the second pilot. The RNZAF pilot with 7 V-1 claims was Bremner of 486 Squadron. However, he is listed as R. B. is some listings, and as R.D. in others. His name was Robert Duff.

Thank you

sorry, should of remembered to say they were with 486

ahhh, and yes, that should be R.D. Bremner (I was on a website and they had the R.B. of course, got to blame the M instead of N on me)

thanks

Hi Sarge,

Short bios of both are in the "Diver" section of Aces High Vol II, by Chris Shores.
