heinz vinke anyone *any* info on his flight 2/3 january 1944?
Hello,
Last week I posted a question about Heinz Vinke but I got no reply, so I'm going to try one more time. I'm investigating the crash of Lancaster DV 401 on 3 January 1944 at 1.40 AM, near Stavoren. At around the same time another Lancaster was attacked. What I would like to know is the following: Can it be confirmed that Heinz Vinke shot down Lancaster DV 401, and is anything known about Heinz Vinke's flight? Which airplane did he fly for example? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Elger
