Sgt. Barry Kaye 1214853 222 Sqdn. RAF
Sgt. Kaye is reported as KIA on 30 July 1942. Can anyone supply any details of the circumstances . Many thanks.

Circus No.200 to Abbeville - Drucat in the afternoon. An escort to six Bostons, as a part of North Weald Wing. Shot by JG 26 down over the Channel, W of Boulogne s/M. Regards, Michal

Thank you both very much. BK was engaged to be married to my mother (as she became). BK's brother was a rear gunner on Wellingtons (70 Squadron Italy 1943/44. The rear gunner's pilot was a F/Sgt Burgess - you can guess the rest!
