LW aircraft Telefunken antenna part??

Hi guys, I need help with this device. Maybe it is an aircraft part, maybe a device connected to the positioning of the loop antenna... Can you please help, can you identify it? Thanks in advance!

Re: LW aircraft Telefunken antenna part??

Hi again, I have still not found what exactly this is... Even if you do not know for sure what it is, can you please share your thoughts about such questions:

Have you seen something similar in an aircraft? Does it look like an aircraft part, or a ground device part? It the color of the box correct for an aircraft instrument or not?

I will be glad to hear your thoughts, if information is unavailable, your "gut feeling" about it is more than welcome! Thanks in advance!

Re: LW aircraft Telefunken antenna part??

Hi Theodor,

Doesn't look like a radio part to me. Then again I'm not much of an expert an radios.

Telefunken manufactered a bunch of other stuff too, such as radar systems (Würzburg) and radio tracking devices (used by the German Abwehr to track spy radio transmissions). I think these last ones are called "Nähfeld-peiler" in German.

Hope this helps,
Rudi.
