Ta254 discovery at Erfurt?

Evening all...

Whilst searching through the results of my recent research visit to Kew to view AIR 40/209, I discovered a single page HQ USAAF Report A-390 which describes the discovery and inspection of a Ta154 discovered at MMW in Erfurt.

Having passed this material onto Dietmar Hermann (author "Focke-Wulf Nachtjager Ta154 Moskito") he has since pointed out to me that this inspection report did not describe a Ta154, but as this example was to be fitted with Jumo 213E engines, it was actually describing the (prototype?) Ta254. Now, it hard to believe that the given the number of photos taken by the Americans of the Ta152, WNr.150167 (which was also found in Erfurt) that no photos from this Ta254 were taken - unless anybody knows any different? Also, can anybody throw any light on where Report A-390 fits into the large scheme of Allied Intelligence reporting, especially if it links to any other reports from the same visit at Erfurt?

Thanks in advance,

Peter D Evans
