Wnr.? Oblt Alfons Koester's Ju 88G-6
Hi,
Can anyone provide me with the full Werke nummer of Alfons Köster's Ju 88G-6 (D5 + PX) which crashed on the 07.01.45? I have the WASt report but the edges are partly burnt, I can only see the following numbers; 21499, I presume there is a number missing at the beginning! On the LEMB Ju88G-6 Database we have D5+PX as WNr.621499 Hope that helps, Peter D Evans LEMB Administrator

The same Werkenummer is given by Obermeier in "Die Ritterkreuzträger der Luftwaffe."
