Hi ,

Wouls someone be so kind to see if the folowing informationis correct ?
30/07/1942
Malmedy ( Belgium )
Ju-88 A-4 - WNr-1496 - 5./KG 54 - B3+ON
Fw Lischinsky Kurt (KIA)
Ofw Freiberg Kurt (KIA)
Uffz Petig Erns (KIA)
Uffz Haase Hans-Eberhardt (KIA)

Morning Alain, yes indeed your information is correct.

This a/c crashed on return from a raid on Birmingham.

Hello Alain,

On the volksbund-website I found the burial places of Lischinski (Köln-Südfriedhof) and Haase (Lommel). But got no hits on Freiberg & Petig.
Perhaps you know the burial-places of these two pilots?

Two of this crew were recipients of the DKiG

Obfw Kurt Freiberg (Bo) 6./KG 54, DKiG 02Jul42
Fw Kurt Lischinski (Ff) 5./KG 54, DKiG 13Aug42-posthumous
