According to our rather extensive but incomplete files, Jope was Kommodore of KG 30 from 17.10.44 to 23.11.44 then
Kommodore KG(J) 30 from 11.44 to 03.45 after that, no other unit associations are known. LdZ DGS We hope this helps.

The unit was formed with the intention of becoming an Me 262 unit but this was soon changed to becoming a Mistel unit for ops on the eastern front. Operations were few and a virtually total failure. For what details are known, see our book "Bomber Units of the Luftwaffe", Volume 2.
