Flying accidents 1941
Hi guys
I hope someone can put flesh on bones regarding the following incidents, please: 21/9/41: Two Spitfires BL770 and W3133 (pilots Morgan and Carey) crashed (collision?) near Goxhill. 23/9/41: P-40 41-36028 (pilot Knowles) crashed near Birkhampstead. 27/9/41: Spitfire BM582 (pilot Keough) crashed near Goxhill. 28/9/41: P-40 41-25132 (pilot Kolas) crashed UK 3/10/41: Spitfire BM479 (pilot Newman) crashed near Goxhill. See note on RAF Commands forum, are these all a year out, all 1942, USAAF crashes? Air Force Historical Studies office will have the reports as well as the two commercial suppliers.
