KG54
Obergefreiter Max Orlieb was killed on 21.3.41 servinG in KG54 When his plane crashed in Argentan France when returning from a mission does any one have the crew and aircraft details and reason for the crash, I assume it was damage to the aircraft? any help is welcomed.

Steven, Obgef. Max Ortlieb was lost with 3/K.Gr806 following a raid 0n Plymouth 21.3.41. His function was Bordfunker, the other crew members being,
Uffz Hans Busse pilot, Fw Karl Scholl Observer, Uffz Kurt Monnich gunner. The a/c crashed in inknown circumstances at Argentan. Rgs, Steve. ps A/c was JU88A-5 M7+FL W.Nr 7210. Last edited by steve sheridan; 26th October 2008 at 18:38. Reason: found a/c id. |
