KG27

Anyone know what KG27 was doing on the night of 25-26 May 1940?

Re: KG27

In cronicle of the unit by Walter Waiss there is no indication of K.G. 27 ops that night specifically. However the night before (24/25-05-1940) at least one crew from 3./27 flew its first Feindflug against England (airfield in SE).

Re: KG27

Thanks, Pawel. Are you sure that it was SE and not NE?

Re: KG27

'ein Flugplatz in Südosten der Insel' ...and as they could not find any military target they unloaded the bombs into 'Nordsee'
