Thanks Ed,
by having a look at the photos of the album, the Ju 88 unit-badge obviously looks more like LG 1 rather than KG 55. Nonetheless very impressive pics of a LW base, which wasn't finished building up when the photographs had been taken. Tallyho and Horrido Norbert

You're welcome, Norbert. Peter Evans makes the same observation about the emblem being from LG 1 on the Luftwaffe Experten Message Board.
