B-17 42-97248 crashlanding in Belgium
Hello all,
On November 25th 1944 B17G “ 42-97248 from 94BG/410BS made a crashlanding near Estinnes-au-Mont ( Belgium ) returning from a mission to Merseburg. Who were the crewmembers and what happened with them.

The crash of 42-97248 was pretty much dealt with on http://forum.armyairforces.com/m137108-p1-print.aspx Perhaps (part of) your question is answered there? Pilot appears to have been Lt Eugene D. Melms, navigator Lt Elmer Ruehlmann. Groet, Leendert
