![]() Franz Stigler's Bf.109G-6 Aircraft
Need help with some information if possible on Franz Stigler's Bf.109G-6 aircraft during December 20, 1943 over Bremen when he escorted a B-17 to safety. He was with JG27 at the time. I need to know the number on the side of his Bf.109G-6. Thanks, Andrew |

Re: Franz Stigler's Bf.109G-6 Aircraft
Take this for what it is worth - I have a painting/print which was signed by Stigler and Brown in 90's showing Yellow 2 for 6./JG27 with 'yellow snake' behind cross and three rows of scores totalling 10, 10 and 5 on the rudder.
My print is 2.1mb and too large for the site. Regards, Bill Marshall |

Re: Franz Stigler's Bf.109G-6 Aircraft
Andrew, my sources show Stigler was flying Yellow 2 at the time of this alleged incident.
