Thunderbolt losses 21-4-45

On the 21-4-45 eight P-47's attacked GAF A/F Stracbing flak claimed two shot down. Did the USAAF lose any T'bolts ? could thay have been French ?

8th did not lose any P-47. Could be 9th AF

Delmenhorst:- I have other reports on A/F attacks that do not match 8 A.F. claims so I am trying to find 9th A.F. ground claims, no luck so far.

On April 21, 1945, 9th AF units claimed the following:
378th Ftr Sqn/362nd Ftr Grp claimed 3-6 Ju-87's and u/i a/c at Marienbad
379th Ftr Sqn/362nd Ftr Grp claimed 0-1 Me 210 at Eger
405th Ftr Sqn/371st Ftr Grp claimed 1-0 Ju 52 at L-6481
397th Ftr Sqn/368th Ftr Grp claimed 6-1 Me 410's, Do 217's, and He 111's at Cheb
394th Ftr Sqn/367th Ftr Grp claimed 1-3 Ju 52's at Straubing
392nd Ftr Sqn/367th Ftr Grp claimed 23-5 Ju 88's, Me 210's, and FW 190's at Straubing and Regensburg
