Hello,
I have ordered my copy of this book but was wondering if anyone had seen it and could comment on the publication?

I haven't seen the new book but Theo Boiten has an excellent track record with his earlier works on the night fighter war.

Re: Nachtjäger by Dr. Theo Boiten

From conversations I have had from contributors to the book, it is an excellent book and its publication, whenever that is, it will have been well worth the wait!

Well done Theo!

David.

Re: Nachtjäger by Dr. Theo Boiten

I have either studied or own most of Theo Boiten's previous works and I can't speak highly enough about them. I contributed in a small way to this publication through a Helmut Lent Abschussmeldung and Gefechtsbericht etc that I own and believe Theo used this information in the publication.

I was asking the question more out of anticipation than anything else as I can't wait to get a copy in my hands!
Regards,
Andy

Re: Nachtjäger by Dr. Theo Boiten

I too am a avid reader of Theo's books. My favourite is "Blenheim Strike", a magnificent read

With this new book this is what caught my attention:
For the first time a picture of each major raid has been compiled as seen from both the Luftwaffe and RAF view, each night's activity is detailed, and each of the more than 6,000 night fighter claims listed. Most importantly, it has finally been possible to conclusively identify all the victors and victims of the majority of combats, a thing previously considered impossible in all but a few cases.

The level of detail in these books will be a real eyeopener.

I received an email from Amazon today stating that my order had been cancelled due to the book being delayed. Any news on publication would be grateful received.
