Hurricane Z.2585
I am looking for more information cocnerning service of Hurricane II no Z2585, which did serve first in 56. Sq RAF, later was handed over to polish 316. Sq PAF.

Mirek,
I don't know about service in 316 Squadron, but it appears that this Hurricane was later handed over to the Soviet Union, was shot down over Finland, was repaired and flew for the Finnish Air Force. Yes indeed, it was shipted to Russia and did serve in VVS RKKA. It was force landed in Febrauary 1942 and was restored to flying condition from 3 other Soviet Hurricanes as HC-465. Its service in Finland is known, in Soviet similar, but its fate bofore shipment to Russia is also interesting, :-)
